Go Kart Developed by Second Year Students

A type of open wheel car developed by an enthusiastic group of second year Mechanical Engineering students at SNIT. This was their first Go Kart manufactured from scrap. They used an old 135cc engine with 10Bhp power. The engine is mounted on the rear side with self starting and it is tuned for high performance. The first test drive was flagged off by the Mechanical HOD Dr. Raji Rajan. The students have reached their first milestone with hardwork and dedication. Asst Prof Adarsh Ramachandran supported the students to make their idea of Go Kart into reality.
