Department of Mechanical Engineering (Automobile), Sree Narayana Institute of Technology, Adoor, conducted the inauguration of the department association SAFE and the selection of office bearers for the academic year 2025-26 on 24th September 2025. The program commenced at 10:30 a.m. in department Seminar Hall.

The function was formally inaugurated by Mr. M. Anil Kumar, Joint RTO, Adoor, who addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of technical associations in enhancing the professional and practical knowledge of students.

The Presidential Address was delivered by Prof. N. Radhakrishnan Nair, Vice Principal & Academic Coordinator, SNIT Adoor, who emphasized the role of student associations in nurturing leadership qualities and teamwork.

The gathering was further honored with the felicitation by Mr. Joobith Banerji, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Automobile), who appreciated the efforts of the students and faculty in organizing the event and encouraged students to actively participate in association activities.

The event also witnessed the formal selection of office bearers of SAFE for the academic year 2025-26. The newly elected representatives took charge with a commitment to organize academic, technical, and co-curricular activities under the banner of the association.

The inauguration concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the student representative, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, and students for making the event a grand success.
