At SABS, education is not confined to the boundary of the classrooms. In order to promote peer learning, the students of the school also organize various activities under the umbrella of the below clubs. Camaraderie, experience, and cooperation sit alongside academics, excitement, and fun to teach valuable lessons for life. Students work together, deepening relationships and reducing competition, creating a collaborative culture that encourages discussion and supporting each other’s success.

These clubs provide a forum for students to share their ideas, knowledge and experiences in their respective domains. They supplement academic life by helping students to continuously learn and improve themselves so as to make them ready for the rigor of the industry. These clubs help build the students competencies by organizing workshops, knowledge sharing sessions, industry interactions and case study solving sessions among others.

SABS Cultural Club

SABS is a culturally diverse institute. It celebrates all the festivals with equal vigor and enthusiasm be it Onam, Ganesh Utsav, Christmas, Teachers’ Day, Holi or any other day and organises events as part of these celebrations to make both students and teachers feel at home. Participation in these events is also encouraged because of the exposure they provide, as students are the ones who organise and execute these events eventually.

A Day with an Entrepreneur

Titans Speaks (TS) is a student managed club which hosts industry leaders and business professionals to conduct talks at SABS. Since its inception in 2012, TS has hosted several renowned speakers who are pioneers of excellence in their fields. TS provide a platform through which students get an opportunity to interact with these industry stalwarts.

We have had international ambassadors, founders, CXO level members, motivational speakers, Leaders from the advertising field, marketing managers and other domain heads from the top tier companies, members of RBI and Planning Commission, and many more who have inspired and enthralled students. These leaders have provided invaluable industry insight and understanding to the future managers at SABS.

Interacting with these eminent personalities provides students with much needed industry exposure. The practical insights of the outer world are brought to life by these experts who have years of industry experience. These speakers also provide a lucrative platform for placement opportunities, often; the speakers quickly gauge the potential of the SABS students and are compelled to come back as possible recruiters.

We at INSIGHT provide a stage and an opportunity to our fellow students to portray their creativity, intellect and scholarly ability, in the form of our newsletter, which is the life-line of INSIGHT, giving wings to their dreams and a canvas for their imagination and creations. From its humble beginnings as a black-and-white newsletter, INSIGHT has expanded its horizons over the years to become a club dedicated to showcasing the creative talents of SABS students and adding colour and mirth to the SABS community

Earn While You Learn

Following the western concept of making the students economically independent, SABS motivates the students to adopt its programme titled “Earn While You Learn”. Under this project, the students of various streams not only financially support their studies but also gain practical experience which would stand by them in their later career. This helps the students to gain a firsthand experience of the corporate world and thereby develop their self-confidence and personality. Accordingly, the students are encouraged to take up part-time jobs after completing their regular classes or during holidays which would enhance their personal rating at the time of final placements.

SABS has tied up with certain organisations for providing Part-Time Jobs to our students. These students, thus selected are able to work with these companies on part-time basis and earn experience as well as money to meet their expenses partially and to gain practical experience.

Mittai Square

SABS provides its budding entrepreneurs with necessary guidance and resources to initiate and run their entrepreneurial ventures as well as provides for incubation of their business ideas. To enable real life business experience, students are supported to do business in zero investment under the tag “Mittai Square”
