INFORMATION is an abstract concept that refers to which has the power to inform. At the most fundamental level, information pertains to the interpretation of that which may ne sensed, or their abstractions

NETWORKING is the practice of transporting and exchanging data between nodes over a shared medium in an information system.

PROGRAMMING refers to a technological process for telling a computer which tasks to perform in order to solve problems.

ROBOTICS is the intersection of science, engineering and technology that produces machines called robots that replicate or substitute for human actions.

ALGORITHMS are procedures used for solving a problem or performing a computation. Algorithm act as an exact list of instructions that conduct specified actions step-by-step in either hardware or software based routines.

Inauguration of Association INSPRA: March 2024

The Computer Science Department Association INSPRA was officially inaugurated on 2nd March of 2024 at CSE Seminar hall. This event marked as a significant milestone in the journey of the department. It brought together students and faculty members to celebrate the inception of a platform that fosters innovation, collaboration, and learning within the realm of computer science. Adithyan B (S2, CSE) gave a hearty welcome to the occasion and emphasized the value of INSPRA in fostering student’s academic and professional development. HOD Dr. Jaya Shankar delivered insightful Presidential Address, emphasizing the role of associations in bridging the gap between academia and industry. Our chief guest Dr. Reshmy Krishnan (Head of Research & Associate Professor (Computing), Muscat College, Sultanate of Oman) inaugurated the event by ceremoniously lighting the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge, inspiration and collaboration. All Head of Departments graciously delivered felicitation addresses, expressing their wholehearted support and admiration for the noble endeavor undertaken by the Computer Science Department Association, setting a promising tone for collaborative activities ahead. A vote of thanks was given by Association Coordinator Ms. Indula Subash to all attendees and guests, for their presence, support, and encouragement towards the association’s noble aims. After the event, a seminar was taken by Dr. Reshmy Krishnan based on the topic ‘AI based adaptive learning environment’.
