The Newsletter releasing ceremony of Computer Science Department ‘Techie Gallery’ was conducted along with Department Association (INSPRA) Inauguration on 2nd March 2024 at CSE Seminar Hall. The presence of our esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Reshmy Krishnan (Head of Research & Associate Professor (Computing), Muscat College, Sultanate of Oman) at the event added an aura of distinction and importance, further elevating the significance of the newsletter release and underscoring the value of the insights and perspectives shared during the proceedings. The event commenced with a warm welcome to all attendees, including faculty members, students and distinguished guests by Adithyan B, President of INSPRA. After the welcome speech, HOD of Computer Science Department Dr. Jaya Shankar emphasized the significance of Techie Gallery, its objectives and the process of creating and curating content. In the event, Ms. Sneha Anna John, Assistant Professor of Computer Science Department handed over the newsletter to Prof. N. Radhakrishnan Nair, Academic Coordinator for official releasing in the presence of Principal Dr. Shaji Mohan B., our chief guest Dr. Reshmy Krishnan, HODs of other departments, faculty members and S2 students of Computer Science Department. The highlight of the event was the attendees had the opportunity to be among the first to access and explore the content of the newsletter, which was made available in both digital and printed formats. Higher authorities and heads of departments made insightful comments during the felicitation, offering valuable suggestions on how to enhance the newsletter by incorporating new material and improving existingcontent.
The Computer Science Department Association INSPRA was officially inaugurated on 2nd March of 2024 at CSE Seminar hall. This event marked as a significant milestone in the journey of the department. It brought together students and faculty members to celebrate the inception of a platform that fosters innovation, collaboration, and learning within the realm of computer science. Adithyan B (S2, CSE) gave a hearty welcome to the occasion and emphasized the value of INSPRA in fostering student’s academic and professional development. HOD Dr. Jaya Shankar delivered insightful Presidential Address, emphasizing the role of associations in bridging the gap between academia and industry. Our chief guest Dr. Reshmy Krishnan (Head of Research & Associate Professor (Computing), Muscat College, Sultanate of Oman) inaugurated the event by ceremoniously lighting the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge, inspiration and collaboration. All Head of Departments graciously delivered felicitation addresses, expressing their wholehearted support and admiration for the noble endeavor undertaken by the Computer Science Department Association, setting a promising tone for collaborative activities ahead. A vote of thanks was given by Association Coordinator Ms. Indula Subash to all attendees and guests, for their presence, support, and encouragement towards the association’s noble aims. After the event, a seminar was taken by Dr. Reshmy Krishnan based on the topic ‘AI based adaptive learning environment’.
